Via Air travel
North Captiva is easiest serviced from the Airport in Fort Myers, FL, Southwest Regional Airport (RSW). If you happen to be flying into another airport, Tampa (TPA), Sarasota (SRQ), or Clearwater/ St. Petersburg (PIE) these are within driving distance.

After arriving at Southwest Regional Airport you have the option of renting a vehicle during your stay but it is recommended to hire a car service to bring you to the marina where you will be taking a water taxi to the island.

• Cape Coral Airport Transportation may be booked via web address or phone. They will also stop to allow you grocery shopping time. Their phone number is 1-800-395-9524 or see http://flselecttrans.com/
  
• Classic Carriage can transport you to and from the airport or to other destinations. They and have fully equipped vans. Contact Ray or Pamela Brown toll free at (877) 283-3200 or (239) 283-5000. Reservations are necessary.
  
• Pine Island Taxi is another service available that will meet you at the airport. (1-888-777-9653 or 239-283-777). It is important to call ahead for reservations for this service.
  
• Majestic Airport Transportation can transport you to and from the airport. Contact 1-800-833-4473 for reservations.

GROCERY
The only available produce available on the island is that similar to a convenience store. So all your provision must be bought at the supermarket before arriving at the ferry dock. There is a Publix Supermarket in Cape Coral at Santa Barbara Center and is on the way to the marina. You can place orders with the market before arriving and they will have that order ready for you to pick up on your way to the ferry. You can fax your order at (239) 458-7822 and then confirm receipt of order at (239) 458-8900. Make sure they “BAG IT FOR A BOAT”

Island Girl Charters provides ferry service to North Captiva Island every other hour between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. To book your space on the ferry, call 239-633-8142 or go to Island Girl Charters web site at www.northcaptivaislandgirl.com. Certain restrictions apply. See web site.

Upper Captiva Charters - Captain Charlie 239-472-1234 or cell 239-872-2028. Charlie runs a flexible service including night water taxi operations. He has navigated the area for over 20 years and provides safe and reliable service. He will let you know where he will pick you up.

Once you arrive onto the Island you will be greeted by our property manager and escorted to your new home for the next couple days.
